14 Things for 2014

January 28, 2014

If one great thing about the holidays is the exchange of presents, a rare perk of the January slump is the way we excitedly compare notes about our most thrilling gifts. By the looks of it, we cleaned up in 2013 -- and not just in December.

We've polled our staff and community for their favorite products from the past year, from old reliables to new discoveries, from pantry staples to high-tech gadgets. Here are the 14 greatest hits, which we've resolved to keep using -- and, if we're lucky, to share with others -- through 2014.

What products are you excited to try in 2014? Tell us in the comments!

I've been using my Chemex nearly every day for the past 3 years. It is the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning (especially when accompanied by a delicious breakfast).

You should offer another Rancho Gordo collection that includes Good Mother Stallard and Cassoulet (American grown Tarbais) beans. They're among the best beans I use on a regular basis -- and I use a lot of beans! (The others are local heirlooms not offered by RGB). ;o)
